Please review the shipping schedule below before placing your order. 

Food orders ship only on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure items arrive at the facility in proper condition. Food orders must be received by Monday at 5:00 PM (EST) to ship during the same week. Please refer to the delivery times by facility below.

All other items ship Monday through Friday. Orders received by 12:00 PM (EST) typically ship the same business day. Please note that footwear orders may experience slight delays if shipped from our Pennsylvania warehouse.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with tracking information. If any items are out of stock, you will be notified by email as well.

Shipping time begins once your order has shipped, not when it is placed, as all orders must be processed prior to shipment.

Returns & Exchanges: The 30-day return, and exchange policy only applies to certain non-food items. Food items purchased cannot be returned or exchanged. Food, Books, and Personal Care items are not eligible for return. You may return for refund or exchange eligible merchandise, only if such merchandise in unused condition, within thirty (30) days from the date of delivery. Your return will be inspected upon receipt. If the refund is approved, which GROONO/S may approve or not approve at its sole discretion, you will be automatically refunded to your original payment method. Please note it typically takes 3-5 business days for banks to credit accounts. Merchandise must be in original condition and with tags. If the returned merchandise is not in un-used and original condition, the refund may be denied. Shipping charges are non-refundable. GROONO/S is not responsible for any return shipping fees. 

For exchanges, please include your new merchandise selection along with a check or money order for the additional shipping fee. 

If your order is returned to us for any reason, does not contain perishable items, and you would like your package to be reshipped, please send the additional shipping fee along with your request.

Refused Packages: Food items that are “refused” by the facility cannot be returned for refund or exchange. Nonfood packages that are refused by the facility and returned to GROONO/S for any reason including, but not limited to GROONO/S being provided incorrect information, an inmate not being eligible to receive packages, or because an inmate has been transferred to another facility, and you would like your package to be reshipped, please send the additional shipping fee along with your request. 

 

Please note: Our responsibility is limited to delivering your order to the facility and obtaining a signed proof of delivery. We do not have control over facility processing times or the status of a package after it has been signed for and accepted by the facility.

If you need assistance with a package that shows as delivered, please contact the respective facility and ask to speak with the guidance counselor, who can provide details regarding orders that have already been delivered.

This delivery promise is subject to exceptions, including but not limited to: security holds on transactions, unconfirmed delivery addresses or inmate DIN numbers, facility-related delays, inmate-related restrictions, loss of package, medical or court issues, or any other factors that may prevent successful delivery.
